There is a significant difference in the wait times for student visas. Per the DoS website, the wait time for students in Chennai and Mumbai is 15 calendar days. Sadly, this is not an accurate reflection of the visa wait time. As mentioned earlier, this table is only indicative and actual wait times vary. It may be recalled that student visa appointments for the month of May 2024 were released May 3, 2024, and we expect more interview slots to be released for the month of June and July 2024 in the coming weeks.
