Centralized Visa Processing:
- H & L First-Time Interview Appointments: Now centralized at the U.S. Hyderabad Consulate.
- B1/B2 Interview Waiver (Drop Box) Appointments: Centralized at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi.
- H & L Interview Waiver (Drop Box) Appointments: Centralized at the U.S. Chennai Consulate.
Document Submission Options:
Regardless of where your visa interview waiver appointment is scheduled, you have the flexibility to submit documents at any of the Visa Application or Document Dropoff Centers.
Free Submission: Documents can be submitted without charge at any of the five Visa Application Centers located in: Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi.
Paid Submission: For a fee of ₹850 per application, documents can be submitted at any of the six Document Dropoff Centers in: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Cochin, Jalandhar, Pune.
Important Notes:
In certain cases, applicants may be required to appear in person for an interview at the consular post where processing has been centralized.
