The school / college holiday season in India has begun and many visitors to the US prefer to travel around Spring / Summer. This has increased the demand for visa appointments and we notice that the visa appointment slots are filled up significantly quicker, once they are made available. If you or your family member or colleague or employee anticipates a visit to the United States either on business or for pleasure, we strongly recommend scheduling an appointment with the respective consulate at the earliest.

Applying early will help avoid last minute rush and the possibility of having to reschedule your travel plans for non-availability of interview slots. The recent gesture of US Consulate, Hyderabad in opening their office for non-immigrant visa applicants on March 27, 2010; especially for B2 applicants applying both in English and vernacular language is appreciated. This also evidences the increased demand for visa appointments.
