Please note that the present consular exchange rate of INR 76 to a US$ is set to change on January 8, 2019. This revision will affect all fees payable at any Consular post in India. If one plans to pay the visa application fee on or after Jan 8, 2019, s/he should check the prevailing exchange rate prior to making the payment. Applicants who have paid the visa application fee on or before Jan 7, 2019 can use the receipt to schedule an appointment within 1 year from the date of payment of the visa application fee.
