The Department of State has announced that with effect from September 12, 2014 the processing fees for some services will be adjusted. This change will be effective across all the U.S. Embassies and Consulates worldwide. Effectively, the fee charged for most immigrant visas will change. The fee for renunciation of U.S. Citizenship will increase substantially. While fee has not changed for most non-immigrant visa categories, there will be a decrease in fee for services relating to E visas (treaty-traders and treaty-investors) and an increase in Consular service fee for services related to K visas (for fiancé(e)s of U.S. citizens).
