Similarly, applicants over 60, who have a physical disability or hearing impairment, may be accompanied by their caretaker or interpreter. Although this information is provided in visa appointment letters, it is not available on websites of the U.S. Embassy or Consulates, or on www.usatraveldocs.com/in. Applicants with physical disability or hearing impairment must obtain prior permission to bring a caretaker or interpreter to the visa interview.
