A notification on www.ustraveldocs.com/in, the official visa information website for consular posts in India shows that the U.S. Visa Application centers in India are open from August 10, 2020. The VACs are located at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad & Kolkata and six documents delivery centers are located at Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Cochin. These centers are open only for passport collection.

These centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

At this time, we understand that the consulates have not resumed regular services. We expect that the passport(s) for cases that were processed prior to the lockdown will be returned at this time.
